| Electric Scooter | | As I've some problem, I am planning to buy an electric scooter. After buying we are planning to add it two extra side wheels. My question is does electric scooters are capable to load extra two wheels? and which are the good companies? | |
| | Anybody own an electric scooter? | | Not the kids kind but the grown up version. I have a zebra escooter. I am having problems with it right now. It is almost 5 years old. I have not changed the fuses in it. It won't go. I can charge it forever and it makes a rattling type sound and won't go.
So I took out the fuses and I am going to go try to find replacements tomorrow for them. Do you think this might solve my problem? I really need to get it running again. I love my scooter and I will be needing it to get back and forth to work in a few months when my break is over.

| | Do you have an electric scooter to help you get around? | | I can only walk for short distances before I basically just fall over. I have found that it is just easier to stay home and not go anywhere because its just too much trouble, hassle, pain.... I have a million excuses for staying home but really, it's just hard to get out and around to do anything. So here's my question, do you have one of those electric scooters that they advertise on television? Do you know anyone who does have one? Do they really help? Are they hard to have and use and upkeep? Sometimes I use the electric cart at Wal-Mart and I am able to shop which wears me out but it feels good to at least do something to help myself and my family.I appreciate any thought and comments that you may have about electric scooters or electric wheelchairs. Thank you in advance. | |

| | It's Right There!!!!! | | are you addicted to your car???do you drive whenit's right there???we have a convenience store right through the apartments, across a little side street, and through another parking lot.
we use it for all the non grocery store essentials......beer, cigs, TP, and beer.yet there are several people that just can't getthere unlessthey're intheir car.
(wow! there, they're and their all in a row)[em]w00t[/em]i mean you could probably walk there and back by the time someone found their keys, unlocked their car, etc.
it's maybe a 5 minute walk if youCAN'T decide which beer to get!!!so how about it???are you in your car???

| Electric vehicals | | I come from Utah, which is one of the most backward states in the United States. I wanted to get an electric scooter to get around town for short trips. This would save my family from using any gasoline, accept when we needed to leave town. The state of Utah has made it so that an electric scooter that only goes 20 miles per hour, is classified as a motorcycle. There fore you have to register this scooter and you have to have a motor cycle license to operate it. I won't be getting one because of this law. They don't care about energy consumption. | |
| | Tiamet the African Grey | | I have an African Grey Parrot that was raised in a garage. Thats how I ended up with her. A friend told me that she was being neglected so we went over to the house and told the people we would report them and I paid them $800 for her and her cage and took her home. She did not speak just squawked. Well she was talking in sentences in a few weeks and paragraphs in a few months. Now she won't shut up. But she is still scared of strangers and will not speak to them. So strangers think she cannot speak.I have an electric scooter that I use on bad days and Tiamet(the Babylonian goddess of the ocean. well we did live on a sailboat!)now asks to go outside so I am teaching her to ride on the basket. However, she is a clutz. She is scared of everything and falls into the basket at the slightest new noise. I tell her she does it on purpose just to get attention. Otherwise she wouldn't always land in the basket instead of on the ground. This is not a dumb bird.Deos anyone else have a clumsy Grey or any other kind of Parrot that still falls off their perch? Tiamet is 16. If she was in the wild well she just wouldn't be she'd be dead long ago. | |

| What would you buy with just 200 dollars? | | I'm thinking either new clothes or a haircut, both of which I really need...What would you do with 200 extra bucks?
Exchange it for pennies? save it? Buy an electric scooter?
Groceries? A new spleen?:D
| | Are these people nuts? | | I live on a hill, in a fairly peaceful neighbourhood, although we have buses come along our road, and it is fairly busy with cars up and down. Today we have had children racing up and down the hill on mini bikes, quad bikes and one of them on an electric scooter. Those tiny little mini bikes are illegal on the roads anyway but seeing a kid of 14 or 15 just about able to stay upright yet racing down the hill is incredible. Are these people completely insane? Have they no brains? The bus had to screech to a halt half way down the hill as one of these idiots raced out in front of him.
The worst thing is that their parents are sitting in their front garden watching the mayhem and laughing. They are actually encouraging these kids to race around on the road, are they completely nuts? I wonder if they will think the whole thing quite so funny when one of their children is hit by a car.
Sorry, rant mode switched off now. But that makes me so angry to think that if a car hits one of these idiots, the driver will be held to blame and not the kid or their parents.
